Website Development in Rajshahi: What to Pay and What to Ask

If you are comparing a website development company in Rajshahi, start with the price and the questions, not with a theme demo. A web design Rajshahi price can mean a one-page landing page, a five-page brochure, or a shop with checkout. Those are different jobs. This guide uses published Bangladesh ranges, then Marketivity’s own set fees, so you can see what a website cost in Bangladesh actually covers.

What “a website” means in this price conversation

A Rajshahi shop that needs a phone number, a map and a WhatsApp button is not buying the same thing as a catalogue with payments. Write the pages down before you ask for a quote. Home, about, services, one proof page and contact is five pages. A menu, a booking form and an English and Bangla version is already a larger brief.

Triple A Tech’s 2026 cost article says the figures come from proposal requests sent to six Dhaka agencies in January and February 2026, plus public packages. They put a basic brochure site at ৳8,000–৳18,000 from a freelancer and ৳20,000–৳45,000 from a mid-tier agency. E-commerce, in that same table, starts at ৳25,000 with a freelancer and ৳50,000 with a mid-tier agency, and the premium column goes much higher. They also list a domain and shared hosting as yearly costs, not as part of the build.

Softwix’s 2026 price guide gives a 5–10 page business site as ৳20,000–৳80,000 and an ecommerce store as ৳40,000–৳250,000. Domain plus basic hosting, in their table, is about ৳3,000–৳10,000 a year. Codesbreak’s 2025 design guide tells a small business to budget ৳25,000–৳65,000. Those three pages were written by companies that sell websites. They are not a government index. They are still more useful than a single “average” that nobody measured.

What Marketivity charges

On the website design and development page the tiers are fixed in more than one currency. The taka schedule is Starter ৳18,000, Business ৳40,000 and E-commerce / Custom from ৳80,000. The same three tiers are published in dollars and pounds: Starter $690 or £549, Business $1,490 or £1,190, and E-commerce / Custom from $2,900 or £2,290. They are set prices, not a live conversion of each other. A written proposal confirms the fee. Hosting, a domain and any ad spend are not silently included.

Starter is the small clear site: up to five pages, a mobile layout, a contact form, basic on-page titles and headings, two revision rounds, and handover of the repository. Business goes to about ten pages, a layout in your colours, one enquiry path, a speed pass, and a GA4 snippet if you provide the measurement ID. E-commerce / Custom is priced from a figure because catalogue size, payments and languages belong in the proposal, not in a menu price.

If a Rajshahi quote is far below ৳18,000, ask what was removed. If it is far above the Business tier for a five-page brochure, ask which pages and integrations created the gap. Price without a page list is not a price.

Questions to ask before you pay

Send these in writing. A serious studio will answer them without a slide deck.

Who owns the site after launch?

You should receive the repository, the design files you paid for, and accounts in your name: domain, hosting, analytics, Search Console. If the studio’s name stays on the hosting bill and you cannot export the site, you are renting a page.

What does the fee include, in pages?

“Up to five pages” means five URLs, not five scrolling sections on one URL, unless they say so. Ask whether Bangla copy, product photography and a logo are inside the fee or billed later.

How many revision rounds, and what is a round?

Two rounds means two passes on the agreed screens after you have seen them. It does not mean unlimited new pages. Ask what happens if you change the offer halfway through.

Will it work on a mid-range Android phone?

Most of your customers are not on the laptop used in the demo. Ask them to show a real handset, not only a narrowed browser window. Ask who compresses images. A beautiful desktop that takes ten seconds to open on a phone will not get the WhatsApp tap.

What do they mean by SEO?

Basic on-page SEO is titles, descriptions, headings and a page that states where you are. It is not a promise of page-one rankings. Nobody honest sells “number one in Rajshahi” as a line item.
